Benjamin is currently chairman of Alphagenome, a venture capital firm in New York, and Carol currently serves as CEO of Alphagenome and also of Carol Monderer Publishing. The Monderers steadily support The Center for Discovery and helped name the Michael Wittenberg Center for Imagination at the outfit. The center "provides individuals with a range of disabilities and medical frailties innovative educational, clinical, residential, and social and creative arts experiences designed to enrich their lives through personal accomplishment."
Past grantees include West Side Federation for Senior and Supportive Housing, Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, Columbia University (Benjamin Monderer graduated from the school), and Columbia Prep & Grammar School.
