Diana Taylor clearly has the intellectual firepower and nonprofit expertise to play a major role in Bloomberg's philanthropy. But there is not much evidence that she plays much of a role in her partner's giving, and even the nonprofit groups she champions don't seem to be getting big Bloomberg checks.
